I'll second granny sue's "amen!" A sight I've seen too many times to count. I always wonder what someone from an urban area would think about a tractor just driving down a road. They'd probably think it was nuts!

It's one of the many, many things I missed when we lived in Chicago. It's something you can't quite put your finger on when it's not there, but you miss it. And even after 2+ years of living back here, I still get a stuck-on smile and feeling of joy when I see stuff like this.
And heck, yeah, all those people in urbania would think it was nuts-o ;)

Amen! Love those tractors ambling through town. And the pickup trucks hauling all sorts of weird loads--like your photo the other day.
The best I ever saw was the grinning guy in an an old flatbed pickup hauling a copper casket.
